what brand of memory is usually found in an imac?

Kingston or corsair?

Someone said that they use corsair memory and hence why the apple ram upgrades are so pricey.

Feedback please?

thanks!

Apple uses all sorts of brands for RAM. There is no set brand that is used exclusively in Macs direct from Apple.

Nope. I have had Macs that have had:
Samsung
Kingston
IBM
some no-name brand I have never heard of before, etc.

Apple buys whatever they can get the best price on (like most companies do) and just uses that in the machines.
