I want to do some rotoscope work (not sure of the proper term) for a short (1-1.5 minutes) video that I have edited on FCP. Is there any free software out there that will allow me to do this?

there are no free image/video editors that can retroscope.

there is no video application that can do this for free. It is a feature of shake however and since it was dis-continued in its current form, it is $1500 less then it use to be running in at only $500
