I bought my mac basically for programming. What are the MUST applications? So far I have textmate.

I want to study ruby and php.

What do I need on my computer for local development, and what do I need to lower my stress levels by helpful applications?

Thanks,
Daniel

BBEdit. If you can't afford BBEdit, then use TextWrangler until you can.

Smultron. It kicks *** and knows many Syntax formats.

I'm a web dev who made the switch. I'm currently using Smultron for editing, it handles PHP, HTML, CSS fine and I'm using CyberDuck for FTP'ing. When I first switched the program crashed quite a bit but the latest build seems to be quite stable and I have no complaints.
