a lot of mpeg files work but mpg files dont..I can hear sound when played in vlc player (nothing in quicktime) however no picture...any help?

Richard,

There is no difference between mpeg and mpg that I know of....it's like jpg and jpeg. Other than this, I'm stumped!

hmmm thats what I thought however mpeg seem to play but the ones that say mpg only play sound on vlc but no pictures?
