whats a good program for mac that rips copyrighted dvds? something like dvd shrink on pc?

You should only be rippping/backing-up DVD's that you own... Discussing copyright infringment won't go very far here...

But what you are looking for is.... MAC THE RIPPER.

Others also use HANDBRAKE.
