I am having issues with my Superdrive. It spits out a lot of my cds. Some are new and some are old. All are original. Today I tried to put a Rosetta Stone demo disc in and it spit it out. The demo works in my PC in both optical drives. My cds work in all (ps2,xbox,discman,dvd player, pc) my other drives.

I went to the Apple support forum and it is a very common problem. I was wondering what can be done. The problem is with the Matsushita drive. It is apparently poor quality. Do they make different drives that can be put into the MacBook? Can I buy one and have Apple install it?

Any suggestions? Thanks
