My iMac tucks itself into bed all by itself after so long idle, but I've noticed that when I wake it up my MSN Messenger is signed out.

I'm not sure if the rest of the net goes off but MSN definetly does. Is there a way to stop this does anyone know?

There is already a plethora of threads discussing this on the forum.
I will save you the time of searching and give you the short, short answer, :black: :

No, you cannot prevent it. When your computer sleeps, your internet connection ends. Doesn't matter if its running Mac or Windows.
Therefore, your running apps that required an internet connection will be interrupted and need to reconnect when you wake the machine.
