After I shut my iMac down something in the computer still continues to move (Fan?) unless I turn the electricity off at the wall?

Is this right?

It's hard to say. I would contact Apple about it.

Does it continue for a long while, it could be the fan getting rid of exces heat (my old PC did it alot after gaming) or maybe a problem with the Optical Drive continuing to spin..

I just turned it off at the plug last night as I wasn't sure what it was doing.

I'll leave the electricity on tonight and see if something is still moving in the morning...
