How to change an "easy name"

This might be a stupid question but how do you go and change the name of the "easy name" on the computer? I'm in a network and we're tying to change the original names the original designer created from "Bill" and "Hilary" to something a little more appropriate, but I can't seem to find out where to go for it after searching for an hour. It might be a dumb question, but does anybody know how to do it?!?!?

Do you mean the "shortname" like the one that appears next to the home folder? If so, its really nto worth it, you are better off making new accounts.if not, then could you explain more

Go to:

System Preferences->Sharing

Then you can click the 'Edit' button and change the comptuer name.
