i have an older generation macbook pro 15" (2.0 ghz) and i've had to have the logic board replaced once and it still gets really hot. I'm wondering if upgrading to the new 17" macbook pro would be any better. Have they made any improvements? Do the 17s get as hot? Just curious!!

Yes, they get very hot, the other day I put my fingers on top of it and it burned me (around the screen area) and the otehr side of the desk was hot too, the heat went right through my desk. Very hot computer.
