Well.

About a year and a half ago, I started getting an itch to buy a Mac. After reading about the Mac from the creation of Apple to OS X, watching every JobsNote available (thank you YouTube), reading iCon and a few other things about Apple I figured I have done enough research to make the switch...

Last night I walked in to the Apple store in Annapolis, MD and picked up my first Mac :mac: . (Along with a new 30 Gig iPod and scanner/printer.) So I wanted to share pictures and thank you for having a great resource like Mac-Forums to come to!

Out with the old!:::

Grrrr, I'm annoyed mine will be another 12 days now :(

Looks very nice though!

It seems that everyone has their iMac straight infront of the keyboard, and not to the side from what I've seen.

Is this the norm?

I like the uniformity of that, plus it seems a little more natural to me. Like youre pointing at it and controlling it.....or I guess its Commanding now, huh?

Very nice. I've never been to the annapolis store. I'm in Greenbelt but I usually go to the Bethesda store as I'm from Montgomery County (just in Greenbelt since I go to UMD).

Is it just me or does that Dell look like it's running OS X?

I hadn't even noticed that... is that some sort of OS X simulation?

Im in love.....

The Dell is running the best (imo) OS X emulator, Fly-a-kite OSX found at portraitofakite.com. It is by far the best and easiest way to get XP looking like X. It really is beautiful.

It is how I meeked by with out the actual OS X for the last year or so.

The Nano is currently plugged into a iTone...its a pretty nice little clock radio with remote and plugs in to all different ipods. The silver one didnt look as good.

gort---go terps!
