MacBook Pro Expose not working !?

I had a powerbook before the new pro, but iam new to troubleshooting on a mac. Its runnin tiger 10.4 and when I hit the expose F9 key nothing happens that is supposed to. A symbol on the screen appears which looks like a setting sun. Actually that symbol is on both the F9 and F10 keys. Neither key is working with expose. Anyone have a clue ?

That is the backlit keyboard, you need to hit fn f9 fnf10 to get those keys to be expose. Or you can change that in the system prefferences.

To change it, go click Keyboard and Mouse in System Preferences. Under the Keyboard tab, check the box at the bottom
