I just bought an airport card (not extreme) to install in my iBook G3 10.2.4
I have never installed anything in a Mac, so I need help. I have figured out that I lift up the keyboard and I see the slot the card goes in to. The antenna, should it lay under the card or on top?
Do I do this with the computer turned off, or? Once it is installed, I was told I need to do something, but I am not sure what. I have no driver, was told the 10.2 would find the card anyway or that something is already pre-installed!
Can someone please give me simple step-by-step instructions on how to do this, I would really appreciate it.
I have a Wireless Gateway Modem, an all-in-one modem & router.
