another hot macbook...

i'm new to the forums and i've been seeing a lot of threads on hot CPUs and stuff, but i was recently running core duo temp annnnd my computer was at 185 degrees F....just wanted to know what a normal temp for this computer would be, and if i should be worrying (i have all the updates to the firmware and all)...

fyi...my computer is 2ghz, 1gb ram, 80gb hardrive

Dayum!

Since I swapped for a non-defective one, I've never seen the temps get over 70 farenheit. They usually hover around 50 idle and 60 load, which is icy to the touch. My macbook runs constantly for 12 hours a day, so I'm not a light user. I'd take it to the apple store if I were you and they might just give you a new one (thats what I did)

Edit - and yes, I do mean F(arenhiet), not C(elcius)

I use coreduotemp to measure the temps.
