Sometimes my AIM crashes, and I can't do anything afterwards... while in Windows I'd press CTRL ALT DEL to bring up task manager and kill annoying processes... Shutting down the whole MAC seems to be my only solution... is there a way to kill programs and applications?? what is it called? thanks.

Command + Option + Escape brings you to the Force Quit menu

Activity Monitor is the equivalent of the Task Manager though (Applications/Utilities)
