Exactly how much Memory does it take to update a Tag?!?!

I updated to iTunes 7 which allows you to finally edit the video tags... as i'm going through this ardous process i'm noticing that when i update, chunks of memory are disappearing. my iPod went from 32.17 Gb left to 31.27 GB left after simply updating the tags to Mission Hill episodes (13 to be exact).


DUDE. nearly a gig for about 16 lines of txt?!?!!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!

WHAT IS UP WITH THIS!?
