Has anyones 24" imac arrived yet?

If so, throw some piccies up!

I want to see how big they look on a desk - Mine comes a week today/tomorrow!

I'm picking mine up tomorrow. It got into the store yesterday, but I'm on course and am too busy to have a brand new computer at home. I can post pics of it if no one does in the meantime.

Here you go. Unfortunately it isn't on a desk since I'm at my parents' and I'm just checking it out. I'll have it home tomorrow. My first impression is that it is ridiculously big.

Yea, my college had a Technology Day on thursday and Apple was there showing off their products to the students, they had this giant 24-inch iMac sittin on the desk and I was just awed at how much bigger it seemed compared to the 20-inch iMacs that we use in the Digital Printing lab on campus.

Just left Shanghai today...another 12 days

Yep, I already had to send mine back due to damage and dead pixels...

My dad has had his for almost two weeks. I am gonna be home this weekend so I will check it out

Here it is on it's temporary desk. I'm building a desk more fitting of such a fine machine as we speak.

Well contrary to what the Apple Store Woman said the other day mine didn't just leave Shanghai the other day, it arrived with my yesterday morning

It came 2 minutes before I went to Uni, and I had to go straight to work after, and I'm back in work for a few hours today so still haven't had it out the box!!

I was at my CompUSA tonight and got to play with the 24" iMac and 17" MBP. That 24" screen is amazing. The machine was VERY FAST. Very snappy and responsive. I would buy one tomorrow if I did have my 20" and I had more $$$ to waste! :spook:

I got mine also.... replaced my trusty iMac G5 20"... it is big... fast... and easy to fall in love with...

As with dtravis7, I stopped by my local CompUSA here and played around with the 24inch iMac. And I have to say, I think the thing is actually TOO big! Haha! I mean this thing was monstrous! Looking at it on the web gives no credit (AT ALL) to how gigantic this thing is. It's practically a TV!

Too big for me, I'll still be getting the 20inch.
