System Preferences HELP!

Hey guys,

I'm new here had a macbook pro for a month now and love it to bits, got all my software on and it works like a dream.

However yesterday i was navigating in my system preferences and noticed that one of my icons looks very strange and i don't know why. I know this is a strange question but i have included a screenshot so you know what i mean, it is the universal icon that has gone strange. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unforunately I'm not sure.

One thing though, posting a screenshot with aperture.dmg and the serial is not wise as illegal software downloads are not allowed here.

Ok no worries i hope someone can help me, And sorry to say it but that is a legal version of aperture i am a web & multimedia student at manchester uni got it on student discount from the apple store.

Try this:

1. Quit System Preferences

2. In the Finder, open up your user folder, then open Library, then Caches. Drag com.apple.preferencepanes.cache to the trash.

The cache file will be recreated the next time you start System Preferences.

Ease up. I too, have a legal copy of Aperture and the first thing I did was make a disc image of it, and put the serial number into a text file.

I do the same for all of my expensive applications
