Sleep or Shutdown?

Hi there,

Got myself a nice new Macbook today, loving it already. I must ask though is it ok to just flip the lid when I go to sleep/go out or should I shutdown?

Cheers,

Jack.

I have a MacBook and I rarely use it. It just sits in my backback all the time. Occasionally, I'll take it to the local deli (wi-fi) or the library, but thats it. I've never used the sleep mode.

Guess it depends on how often you use it.

"set it and forget it!"

or in this case, close it and forget it. let it sleep as you sleep.

There really is no need to do either... just keep it running. Won't hurt a thing to do that.
