auto redial to internet?

Hi,
I am using the internal modem on my powerbook to connect to the internet, but every 2 hours my ISP disconnects me from the internet, but I can dial straight back up. I want to leave my computer on all night downloading, and on windows I could set it to automatically redial, and the download would continue fine.

Is there a way to do this on Mac (10.3.2)?

There are Disconnect options that may be set causing you the problem.
Check…
System Preferences/Network/Modem/PPP/PPP Options/
There is a "Disconnect if idle for "X" minutes" and a "Disconnect when user logs out" option.
