I have a G4 which I upgraded with a Powerligix 1.5 ghz processor. When I first start it up, I can usually put it to sleep and wake it up once, but when I put it to sleep for the second time, when I want to wake it up, the fans start, but I don't think that the hard drives do, the display doesn't turn on, and the restart button on the front of the case doesn't work. I have to hold down the power button to shut it off and then restart it.

Did this problem start after the upgrade to the Power Logics CPU?

No, I believe it started before.
