g3/g5 hybrid

so i just bought a g3 300 mhz power mac and wuz wandering if it would be possible to put a g5 or g4 logic board in.

definitely not a G5 but I can't be sure about the G4. It would probably cost you more than you just paid for the g3

well i just bought tha tower on ebay for $25. so im just tryin to build sumthing for cheap that will last while im goin to school

The amount of money you would have to spend upgrading that machine would far outweigh the cost of a new Mac. If I were you, I would save up for a Mini.
