My iTunes keeps opening randomely, whats the deal?

For some reason, iTunes keeps opening itself randomely about twice every 5 minutes. Then I would close it, and it would open again 2 minutes later. What can i do to stop this, whats the problem?

Can anyone help me? This is getting ridiculous.

Do you have an ipod plugged into the computer? What processes are running on your system? Need the info... hehe.

Well, I don't Own an Ipod, um, the problem seems to have started since i've been using Acquisition, and since i have been updating my software and stuff. Even after restarting, it still does it, with nothing running. Thats about as much info i can give you.

well downloading music off of acquistition is illegal and could screw up things

who said i was downloading music?
