No TV Out

Macbook Pro, 2.16 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB HD
So used to the S-Video out on PC laptops... I dont see one on my MacBook Pro. How does one get TV output from macbook pro? I have the 17" / 2.16 GHz MBP.

You buy apple's DVI-> video adapter that gives you s-video or composite out.

Around 18$

Sorry to sound stupid! Is it possible to connect my MBP so as i can look at some dvds i have on it through the Tv?

I'm no expert here, but if you have that Apple DVI vid adapter and have either s-video or composite inputs on your TV, then I can't see why not....

Then again maybe if your tv didn't have those inputs, another adapter is all you'd need....

Remember, I'm just surmising....

You have to use DVI. If your TV has a VGA input, you can use the DVI to VGA adapter that came with your computer. All you need is a VGA to VGA. If you want to go S-video, then you need a DVI to S-Video adapter. I'm not sure, but I THINK that VGA gives a better resolution than S-video.
