I'm trying to delete my admin account (only account on the comp), i went to the apple menu, system pref, and accounts.

i clicked on my admin account, unlocked, then i tried to click the - (minus) but it was not highlighted. Therefore when i click it, nothing happens.

any ideas?

I don't think you can do that without using your original install CD. I'd do a search for Password, there should be an answer in the archives as I've seen a very similar question before.
Good luck!

You cannot delete it if it is the only account.
If you really want to delete it, you would have to wipe and reformat the drive.

Why is it that you need to delete the account?

Create a new admin account first, then log out of your old one, log into your new one and then delete it from there.
