ID3 tags

I have wave files that do not have any ID3 tags on them, and I would like to add ID3 information to these songs, such as: artist name, song title, album title and genre.

How can this be done with existing wave files that don't already have this information embedded within the song?

You might try one of 'Doug's Applescripts'...

I think there's a webpage with a bunch of them. I know that you must have the Album name to get any album art through the various widgets and even Apple's new Album Art search in iTunes 7 is going to function off of the Album name.

I know if you add them to iTunes, they appear to have ID3 information embedded, so maybe try adding them there...
