MP3 Player Problem

First, you need to make *sure* that your Mac isn't recognizing it. With the MP3 player unplugged, open the program called "Console" (it's under Utilities). With it open, plug in your MP3 player. After 10 seconds or so, click "Refresh" in the Console program. You *should* see a line showing that it recognized the player. If it did not, then you've got some serious issues. If it *did*, then it just means that you need the appropriate software, in order to interface your MP3 player with your Mac.

You'll be lucky to get your Sony player to work on anything except Windows. It uses some hideous proprietary Sony thing and so far there is nothing that can be done. Sorry :(
