Need a temp control/check widget please.

Just downloaded istat pro.
However it does not tell me my cpu temp.
Need a widget that is reliable and works fine.

I use iStat nano and I like that better. I thought iStat pro did cpu temp, perhaps a setting needs to be changed?

This is weird.
I went to the settings, and for some odd reason it tells me that no temp sensors were found and that no fans were found.

i was going to tell you the one i have in my dash, cuz it works but its just in Celcius. so you have to convert it. ; but now its not working.

funny how that goes, if you hadn't started this thread, i never would have noticed.

did you update your fan firmware? your mac will run a LOOOOOOTT cooler. i mean a LOT. its insane how hot mine would get, now its totally tolerable.


on a side note,
anybody know how to get my temp thing working again? :p

I just noticed the same thing; says it cant find the sensors on my MBP.

he's right, i installed it about an hour ago, its a lot louder at times, but there are no more annoying on and off moos, and it is sooo much cooler to the touch.
