When using firefox and aim, they sometimes randomly close and give me an error message. Does anyone else have this problem or know whats going on?

The application Firefox has unexpectedly closed

Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

I see this error too, from time to time, but there's no consistency and I ignore them.

It has never happened twice in a row with the same app so I usually forget about it...

Sometimes it's a problem with that application's preferences or you have run out of memory or something like that. Last time I had that happen to me, it was Excel and I just deleted the preferences and it hasn't crashed since then.
