Depending on the AV connections on your TV, either Apple's mini DVI-> DVI adapter or the mini DVI-> video adapter.

The first requires a DVI connection on your TV, the second will give you a composite or s-video out.

The resolution will depend on your TV - if it's high-def (720p) it will probably be able to display in 1280x720, which is almost as good as the macbooks display. If its standard def, it will look a bit pixelated.

I use the DVI to VGA adapter to connect my Macbook to my Sony Bravia TV.

We can't be much help unless you can tell us what kind of connections your TV has and what you're wanting to hook it up to.

You'll need to get the mini-DVI to video adapter and an S-Video cable.

As Aptmunich wrote, it will be pixelated. It's definately not pretty. Ran the same setup on a friend's Mac to his 62" HDTV, hurts the eyes.
