Hey MacForums!
To make a long story short (which include wine, and drunk people not controlling their intake), the on/off button is broken on a friends iBook G4. The problem is that the connector wont attach to the mainboard.
Anyway, instead of repairing it myself (which i think would involve more bad than good) or sending it to a Apple-center, I was wondering if the is a way to prevent the iBook from ever shutting down?
For starters, I would somehow tell the system that if anyone wants to shutdown the computer, they really mean reboot. Second, I would have to make changes in PRAM (if possible) that if the power is cut, that it should bootup right away when it get its power back (at least i know that some PCs have this ability).
