If you can afford it in six months, go for it. For all I know, I think leopard will release at Macworld jan itself. Just a speculation. But you won't be stuck with an iMac that's old hardware-wise, so get it as soon as you can afford it - if leopard is on it. Ditch the ipod.

Anticipation can be a wonderful thing, but don't put off buying your mac if you have the money but think by waiting you may receive a "little extra for your money"

As soon as you got the hard cash/plastic don't delay.......enjoy!

What is the point of posting this now?
What is the point of asking that question at this moment?
Regardless of the answer you receive(d) now, you would at least had to wait another 6 months.
Should have posted this in 6 months, and asked the question whether you should purchase an iMac now, or 4 months from now.
Would have made more sense to me.
