I recently bought a Dlink D1 524 router and I've been having a hard time setting up. I did finally get it to work but every time I encrypt it with WEP the my connection stops working. Ive selected the Wireless Network from the drop down icon in the menu bar and its then asked for the password but then it just doesnt work. Anyone have this trouble?
An other thing, how can you just set up a router for two laptops? Normally those installation CD's ask for a desktop computer that's connected to the internet at all times, is that the only way to do it or is the alternative to just make one of the laptops the desktop until you've configured it.
