Hello,

I am a new Mac user! I was just wondering... Where do deleted e-mails go in the Mail program?? I set up my e-mail accounts, but once I delete the e-mails, they just disappear! In the preferences, I chose for deleted e-mails to be moved to the trash folder... But I don't see a trash folder anywhere. The only folders I see on the left are:

Inbox
Sent
Drafts
and my e-mail accounts

I am extremely confused. Please help!!! Thanks!

Are you using imap or pop access to your mail account?

When you use imap, you are manipulating emails and folders stored remotely on your mail providers server, not on your computer...

So you might need to log into your provider's webmail interface and enable the trash folder to be visible or something...

Also check that the trash in enabled under preferences->accounts->accountname->mailbox behaviours.
