Installing Sims 2 problem!!

I have tried installing this game numerous times with no luck. It says there needs to be at least 1mb free disk space available, the problem isnt my free disk space because it says I have 45gb left. Anyone know what this problem is and how to fix it?

I'm having the exact same problem. I have 100GB left and no other programs running...plz tell me how you fixed it if you managed to that is.

its cuz u arent opening the one you installed on ur hard drive ur still using the disc one just open the folder on ur hard drive and itll work i had the same problem
