Macbook Pro not reading dvd's

I dunno why but when I put a dvd in the dvd player comes us black. I push play and it says "Supported Disk not Available". Whats wrong?

Yea I am getting this too! I just got my Macbook Pro a few days ago, I just tried 2 different DVD's that both work in my DVD player. I know I am updated, whats the deal??

Wow, I feel like a moron!! I am used to Linux machines where reboots really dont do all that much. Thanks man!
