I have an iBook running latest version of Tiger, using wireless, and a Buffalo LinkStation which is on the wired network.
The Buffalo has an unrestricted share on it, which I want OSX to connect to when it starts up.
Now, I've tried adding the share to my startup items and it just doesn't connect.... when I go through Finder>Connect to Server, I am prompted for a username and password, or log in as guest, which I do, as there's no username or password.
I'm assuming it's got something to do with OSX trying to connect and thinks it needs a username and password, so won't connect.
Is there any way to tell it to always connect as a guest?
