Hi all,

I know this topic has come up before but I'm trying to find a straight answer and I'm getting confused!

As the Macbook has integrated graphics will upgrading the RAM increase graphics performance? If not is there a way to do it?

All the best!

The MacBook's graphics will only take up to 64mb at a time. It uses less when it needs less but never more. Adding RAM will only help you on the software side of things.

No, i've seen macbooks use up to 256mb of RAM for graphics. According to the Genius if you have 2GB of RAM it can scale up to 256mb depending on what your doing, i'll go and confirm this again as soon as i next go to the Apple store.
