Okay I got a 4GB Nano just last week, it has worked fine until tonight.
When ever I plug it in it simply does nothing, no icon and isn't registered in iTunes. That said a fsck_msdos app starts up in the Activity manager to recognize the FAT32 volume but runs the CPU up to full speed and stays there for as long as I leave it.
I have tried reseting the iPod and Mac, reformatting the iPod and to no prevail. I have also connected my 4GB mini (FAT32) to iTunes only to have it work perfectly.
Would any of you have a clue as to what has happened?
I have searched everywhere for an answer and this is my last hope.
Thanks in advance. :headphone
