Baby Foot...

This is a picture I did of my friends daughter's foot. Basic shoot that was enhanced in Photoshop a bit to bring out the rings.

Well, unless you live in Arkansas, West Virginia or certain parts of Kentucky....;)

*sigh*

The downside of living in Arkansas...oh wait...there are no upsides.

Do yu guys have any tips on keeping the camera steady? when you are taking a photo freestand, just in your hands?
do not stand with your feet side by side, place one foot pointing out to the side and one forward and spread your legs a little.

if that doesnt help turn up the ISO level on your camera , but not too high as you dont want noise (400 or lower is ideal, pending on camera, my Canon 20D doesnt really show noise until 1600 and even then it is very little, pending on lighting of course)

hold your breath as well when your account to take the pic.

I always hold down the picture taking button almost to the point of no return, then I check that everything is aligned/in focus. Next I hold my breath momentarily as I take the photo.

I love how the ocean and sand are the same colour and how your daughters dresses are white and very similiar - great!

The reflection just adds that final touch... :dive:

Thanks for the complement. I lucked out as lightning strikes are unpredictable. That was the best of a few strikes I captured. It was also the last, as they were getting to close for comfort!

Sure you can use the image as a desktop picture. Enjoy it.

As for the cleaning, I have an odd blotch on some images that I can't explain. It appears in the same location when I do notice it.
