Parallels trouble with outlook

so i've installed parallels and windows xp so I can continue to use outlook for work; however, when i start outlook and attempt to create my email account i continually get the error message:

The action could not be completed. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.

When I click ok outlook just shuts down completely.

Any suggestions????

Don't know aobut why its not working, but I hear entorage for osx is pretty much the same as outlook, and its made by microsoft.

I am unsure about parallels ability to connect to the internet that is why i made the suggestion.

yes i have used entorage; however, i need to be able to sync my palm treo with outlook and i have and exchange server so it syncs better with outlook. will outlook just not connect over parallels?
