Hey, I'm currently a Windows/Linux user, and have decided to get a 20" iMac (why I don't know :p).

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody knows a date for when OS 10.5 (X.5) will be bundled with the iMac, and I won't have to buy an additional upgrade. Anybody know when this will happen?

Thanks! :)

Edit: Crap.... I just read the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" thread... :( sorry, could an admin/mod move this to the correct board? T.I.A.

It would be a good idea to also search before posting, this has been discussed many times before.

It will be released next spring. Exact date unknown.

I'm sorry about that -- next time I will check more thoroughly, but thank you for the info! :)

no problem.. I hope going to mac works out for you, buy the mac when you need it, 10.5 can always be added later, and its not really that expensive.
