Apple is replacing my powerbook for a macbook pro because the number of problems it has had. Apple is going to email me some fedex labels to print and put on my box for shipment, then I am supposed to email them the tracking # of my shipment and they will ship me the replacement. I was wondering if anybody has had this experience before and could tell me how long it took them to email you the fedex labels. I was thinking that as soon as I got off the phone with the guy at applecare, he would finish the paperwork and email me, but I havent gotten the email yet. Any help would be appreciated.

In my experience, Apple has many customer service departments. The department that is sending you the labels isnt the same one that you spoke with. Give it a couple days and then call back.

Thanks, I called them and they said that FedEx sends the emails, not Apple. Im glad I called because they cleared up a few things and the guy was really helpful.
