Okay, seriously, an easy way to clean the trackpad would be a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (or something generic).

Maybe not worn down so much as it is just slimy and greasy.

alachol swiped every day at the end of the day. I do it on both my laptops keeps them new. (Takes away grease perfectly)
