Hi guys,

Just got wondering, would Windows x64 work with Boot Camp, im asking this becouse its the Mac Pro im thinking of using it with, and surely x64 Windows would work a lot better than standard windows on a 64 bit system?

Should work as long as it has SP2 (Off the top of my head I think they had the same service packs as 32bit)

What are your thoughts on its performance though? Someone suggested to me it would be improved quite a bit...

I have only used x64 a little bit on a 64bit amd processor at work but didn't really notice any speed boosts. I am sure if you did benchmarking you would see the difference, but to the naked eye I don't think its that drastic. If i was building a new machine witha 64bit processor I would get x64, but if I had any XP licenses I wouldn't spend the money to get x64

Doesn't Windows x64 require different drivers than Win32? Would the Boot Camp drivers work?
