I've had my Macbook for almost 3 months, and a friend of mine just bought one and I noticed that the Apple logo in the top left hand corner and the Spotlight icon are different colours then mine. Her's are a deep darker blue.

Why is that? It was just something that I noticed.

do you mean hers is a different color blue, or a different color entirely?

Maybe check your colour calibration in system preferences > Displays > Color > and see if its calibrated the same

Menace was right, I didn't realize it was changable, her's came with the Graphite color selected.
