Are you sure that the networks you are trying to connect to aren't using WEP or WPA keys?

Hi

I've tried to connect to several wireless networks some using wep and some wpa, it appears to connect, it accepts the keys but no web page? The only way i can get the internet is by using an ethernet cable,

Is your airport card set to get an IP address via DHCP?

You say the Router has a WEP Password set? Make sure when you enter that password you set the proper Bit Type where is says Wireless Security. Here is a Pic that might help you. If you don't have the right type selected, you will get nothing on the net. Had to help many with this. Hope this is your proboem and helps you.
