Your Mac's Specs
2.2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 120GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, 15" widescreen... pretty basic.
I downloaded the mini cpu heat and mini battery widgets from Apple's website along with the cpu usage and available ram widgets. The latter two work fine, but the cpu heat and battery widgets don't seem to be reading or displaying anything. Do these need to be configured?

Thanks.

You need to make sure you get appropriate ones for your hardware. If you have an Intel Mac, the sensor system for temperature (and maybe battery) is different from the PPC Mac. It could just be that you have one and the widget supports the other.

Any particular one you can recommend? I've tried three with no luck so far.
