Mounting NTFS external on OS X

Does anyone know how to get an external HD using NT file system to mount on OS X desktop?

I think I found the answer to this:

"neither OS 9 nor OS X can mount NTFS volumes"

when wanting to use an external with windows and mac machines I suggest using FAT32 file system.

**** now I can't rob all those legal files from the company external.
