Well, i'm fed up with the "itrip" static, so it's come down to installing an AUX jack in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Now, does anyone know where I can get the parts to do this?

I dont want an adapter, or something that's going to charge my ipod, or be able to control my ipod through my factory deck.. none of that (i went into an audio store today and they wanted to charge me $350 to get something like that). All I want is a very simple AUX jack to plug my ipod into.

Can anybody point me in a good direction? Would this be hard to install myself?

Thanks :)

no adapter? I've actually had EXCELLENT experiences with the Monster tape adapter. You might want to check that out, I think it's only like $20 too.

It might just be easier to get a new head unit. I ended up doing this and made sure I got one that had an AUX input. Worth the $250 I paid 3 years ago..

tape adapters are better than RF adapters IMO... or a new deck would be even nicer

If you stock deck supports AV inputs you could still adapt the iPod
